Manifold MCP: What It Is, What It Costs and Who It’s For

⚠️ Affiliate Disclosure: This post is not an affiliate associated review. It may become one in the future and this disclosure will reflect that. This does not affect my reviews and I only recommend tools I genuinely believe in.

Manifold MCP launched on Product Hunt on 12 October 2026, pitched as “SEO, AI answers, social, ads and leads data for your agent”. I haven’t tested Manifold MCP — this is an information guide for developers weighing it up, not a review. It’s a solo project by maker Jesse Sibley: a hosted MCP server that pipes live marketing data into whichever AI agent you already use, rather than yet another dashboard to log into.

What Is Manifold MCP and What Does It Do?

Manifold MCP is a remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that gives agents like Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor access to marketing data on demand. The documented coverage spans Google rankings, keywords and backlinks; AI-answer (AEO/GEO) checks on whether ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews recommend a brand and which pages they cite; TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and X posts and creators, with video transcripts; Reddit recommendation threads; competitors’ live Meta and Google ads; and lead data including verified work emails. Search Console, Google Analytics and Bing Webmaster Tools connections are also listed. The vendor is upfront that Manifold supplies data only — your agent does the drafting, and you review it. It also notes it has no connection to Manifold Markets.

How Does Manifold MCP Work?

Every client points at one remote URL: https://mcp.manifoldmcp.com/mcp. In Claude you add it as a custom connector and sign in; in Claude Code it’s claude mcp add --transport http manifold https://mcp.manifoldmcp.com/mcp. ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI, Grok, OpenCode and any client with remote MCP support are listed, with API keys for clients that lack OAuth. Under the bonnet, the docs say search, keyword, backlink and AI-answer data come from DataForSEO, while social, Reddit, LinkedIn and ad data come from the platforms’ public data — you don’t need your own accounts or API keys for any of them. Results are cached for a day to a week depending on the data. There’s also a free, MIT-licensed skills library for multi-step jobs such as finding SEO quick wins.

How Much Does Manifold MCP Cost?

Pricing is credit-based, in dollars (the site doesn’t state the currency; USD is the safe assumption), fetched from manifoldmcp.com on 13 Oct 2026. One wrinkle: the Product Hunt listing says new users get 500 free credits, while the vendor’s own site says each new workspace gets 250 — I’ve gone with the vendor’s figure. Per-call prices aren’t published; instead, each tool shows its credit price to the agent before it runs, and an agent can set a spending cap.

PlanDetails
Free250 credits per new workspace (vendor site); no card mentioned
ProFrom $20/month (USD) for 2,500 credits
MaxLower per-credit rate; price not published
Top-upsFrom $10 between renewals

What Are Developers Saying About Manifold MCP?

I searched for independent feedback on 13 Oct 2026 and found none — Manifold MCP launched the day before and is too new for meaningful developer feedback. Every claim in this post is the vendor’s own, from its site and Product Hunt listing.

Who Is Manifold MCP For?

The obvious audience is developers and technical marketers building SEO or marketing agents — if you’re wiring an agent to answer “which keywords could reach page one?” or “does ChatGPT recommend my brand?”, Manifold bundles data sources you’d otherwise stitch together from DataForSEO and assorted scrapers yourself. The AEO angle is the bit I find most interesting: checking how AI assistants talk about a brand is exactly the generative-engine-optimisation work more sites (mine included) now care about. Alternatives worth naming: going direct to DataForSEO’s API, or established SEO data APIs like Ahrefs and Semrush — though I can’t compare them hands-on here. The leads/verified-work-emails feature is one UK developers should run past GDPR considerations before using in anger.

Manifold MCP: Pros & Cons On Paper

Pros

  • Manifold MCP needs no DataForSEO, Reddit or LinkedIn accounts of your own — one connector covers the lot, per the docs
  • Manifold MCP shows each tool’s credit price to the agent before it runs, with spending caps — rare cost transparency for agent tooling
  • The AEO checks (what ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity say about a brand) target a genuinely under-served need
  • Free MIT-licensed skills library and a free tier to trial it

Cons

  • Manifold MCP publishes no per-call credit prices, so real monthly cost is hard to estimate before use
  • Manifold MCP is a solo-maker project a day old, with no independent feedback I could find
  • Free-credit figures disagree between Product Hunt (500) and the vendor’s site (250)
  • Data freshness is capped by caching of a day to a week — documented, but worth knowing for rank tracking

Is Manifold MCP Worth a Look?

If you’re building an SEO or marketing agent, Manifold MCP is worth a trial on its free credits — the one-URL setup is about as low-friction as MCP servers get, and the AEO data is the sort of thing I’d want for this site’s own GEO work. Set a spending cap first, and treat the leads tooling carefully under UK data law. This is not a scored verdict: I haven’t connected it, and data quality is the whole product here — only hands-on use will show whether it matches what DataForSEO charges for directly.

Used Manifold MCP? Tell Me How You Find It

I don’t test developer tools — you’re the expert here. If you’re using Manifold MCP, leave a comment: what works, what doesn’t, and what you’d choose instead. Honest developer experience is worth more than anything I can write from the vendor’s pages, and it helps the next dev weighing it up.
