No — Hostinger Horizons does not offer push notifications as a documented feature. As of September 2026, Hostinger’s Horizons help centre and technical specifications do not mention push notifications, web push or progressive web app (PWA) support at all. The one notification channel Hostinger does document is email: Horizons can send an email when someone submits a form on your app, up to 500 emails a day, with no external service needed.

What Hostinger Says About Notifications in Horizons

We went through Hostinger’s own documentation rather than relying on what the AI builder claims in chat, because a prompt-driven tool will often say yes to a request it cannot fully deliver. Here is what is actually documented for Hostinger Horizons (which Hostinger’s support pages now also call Hostinger AI Builder):

  • Email notifications on form submissions — supported and built in. You describe it in the chat (for example, “Send an email to me@example.com whenever the contact form is submitted”) and Horizons wires it up. The limit is 500 emails per day.
  • Transactional emails from an online store — supported, covered by a separate Hostinger guide.
  • External services via prompts — Hostinger states you can integrate cloud databases such as Supabase or Firebase and custom APIs by asking for them.
  • Push notifications, web push, PWA or service workers — not mentioned anywhere in the Horizons FAQ, technical specifications or help centre collection.

That last point is the answer to the question. It does not mean a push notification can never be made to work inside a Horizons app; it means Hostinger has not built or documented it, so you would be relying on the AI to hand-roll a service worker and connect a third-party push service, with no support behind you if it breaks.

Why Push Notifications Are Harder Than They Sound in a No-Code Builder

Browser push notifications need three things: a service worker running in the user’s browser, a push service to deliver messages (Firebase Cloud Messaging, OneSignal and similar), and a back end that stores subscriptions and triggers sends. Horizons is a prompt-to-app builder that publishes a hosted web app and manages the server side for you. Its published limitations say that FTP, SSH, cron jobs and file-level access are not available, and that exported code becomes a static site that cannot be imported back. All of that is fine for a form-and-database app, and none of it is friendly to a push pipeline that needs scheduled sends and server-side hooks.

What to Do Instead

  • Use email notifications. For the common case (“tell me when someone books / enquires / signs up”) the built-in email notification does the job with no extra setup.
  • Try a third-party push service via prompt. Ask Horizons to add Firebase Cloud Messaging or OneSignal. Treat it as an experiment: test it on more than one browser before you promise it to users, and expect to do some back-and-forth in the chat.
  • Pick a different builder if push is the core feature. If your app is built around notifications, a platform with explicit backend and PWA control is the safer bet. Our Base44 vs Hostinger Horizons comparison covers where Horizons’ hands-off approach helps and where it gets in the way.

We will update this post if Hostinger adds push support to Horizons or documents a supported route. If you have got push notifications working in a Horizons app, we would like to hear how; the contact details are on our contact page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Hostinger Horizons support push notifications?

No, not as a documented feature. As of September 2026, Hostinger’s Horizons documentation does not mention push notifications, web push or PWA support. Email notifications on form submissions are supported instead.

Can Hostinger Horizons send email notifications?

Yes. Hostinger Horizons can send an email whenever a form in your app is submitted. You set it up by describing it in the chat, no external email service is needed, and the documented limit is 500 emails per day.

Can I add OneSignal or Firebase push notifications to a Hostinger Horizons app?

You can ask the AI to try. Hostinger says Horizons can integrate Supabase, Firebase and custom APIs via prompts, but push notifications specifically are not documented or supported, so test carefully and do not rely on it for anything critical.

Is Hostinger Horizons the same as Hostinger AI Builder?

Hostinger’s support pages now refer to the product as Hostinger AI Builder, with Horizons features described under its “agentic mode”. The documentation we checked for this post sits under both names.
